Discover Lost Elwood

March 10 2019

Isaac Hermann, local history buff and civic treasure, will guide us down Slaughterhouse Road between the abattoirs, over the bridge by the dung heap, dodge the bullets at the rifle range, pass by the coal mine on the way to the quarantine station and through the tea-tree to the grave sites from the ship 'Glen Huntley'.

More information: Isaac's 'Lost Elwood' also includes the original course of the creek, failings of the canal, flooding, demise of the street railway, excavation of Red Bluff, and the fall from grace of the infamous Tommy Bent.
