    Graylings was one of the most extensive landholdings in this section of Alma Road. The land has subsequently been subdivided with Godfrey Avenue and Graylings Avenue now forming part of the original estate.Godfrey Avenue was named after the last owners of the Estate whilst Graylings was the name of the house that was previously located at 107 Alma Road.

This large estate was subdivided after the death of Frederick Godfrey though the house remained until the 1940's. The area now has streets which reflect the ownership of the Godfrey family.
