The event was to mark the launch of St Kilda Families: Memorials in Christ Church, a book by Jenny O'Donnell with a foreword by the Archbishop of Melbourne.

The book tells the story behind the many memorial stained-glass windows in Christ Church, which commemorate both prominent and lesser-known citizens of early Melbourne. It also includes a brief history of the church building, architects' biographies, renovations and additions, together with biographies of more than 220 people associated with St Kilda.

Short Story Competition Winners

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the St Kilda Historical Society held a Short Story Competition in 2020. Entries closed on 7 August 2020, with a total of 134 submissions received across the Open and Junior sections.
